Cold and snowy with reports of warm sunny weather

Hello everyone,
I,m back to work here in NH and enjoying our good old New England winter. Lots of snow and cold today, I'm just now thawing out. It seems every year I'm framing a house on the lake in January with the howling winds. I should be enjoying the cool breezy season in SL with my family were it is a cool 75 degrees, but we have to eat so here I am. I am enjoying visiting with many of you freinds and sharing some experiences first hand. Lorie called today to ask me to post for her for she and the kids are going to the Distric Convention at the football stadium and she won't get to the internet cafe' this week. Our freinds the Medieto's, a family of five that moved to Port Loco from Nigeria a year ago, stayed with our family on wednesday night in preparation for the convention. Lorie will be taking all of our children plus nieces of a brother in the hall and two more nieces of another brother in the hall, so they won't have to walk for hours. They will try to fit one adult and10 kids plus the driver in a little Nissain Prevera that we hire for transport.
Shelby and Lyam are getting over a bout with Malaria. They both had a fever but with proper meds and care it is treatable now. Today both were up and about and are planning on attending the DC. Pray that all the freinds will be able to sit comfortably on concrete bleachers for three days and listen and enjoy the convention. The stadium has no seats they sit on concrete with the person behind them having their feet at your back. The stadium was designed for sportig events where most of the fans are standing, and the event only last for two to three hours. Remeber this when you complain about Portland. Oh by the way they are out in the open air as well, no ac just plenty of sun. We all have to put up with something in this time of the end, so we bundle up for the cold and sit on cushioned seats, while they enjoy the sunny with concrete seats. Doesn't the new system look better everyday.
I've come to appreciate Jehovah is o so good. That no matter what we face each day their is some one going throug something worse, and yet that does not minimzie our trial, in fact it magnifies it in the sense that to Jehovah's glory he gives each of us the power to endure. This humbles us, shows us the need for realience on Jehovah each day, and it maginfies Jehovah as the only source of true happiness, the only one even close to capable of helping the world of mankind and it's individual parts you and me at the same time. When we widen out with our associations in Jehovah's organization we come to appriciate Malachi 3 :10 to the point were there is no more want. Dennis
